Bob Voelk

Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and President

Bob Voelk is one of the original founders of Omtool and serves as its chairman, chief executive officer, and president. He is responsible for Omtool’s global strategy, is a recognized expert in document-related technologies, and has a long and distinguished career in the computer software industry. As president and CEO, Bob has been responsible for developing Omtool’s diverse product portfolio, its worldwide network of strategic alliances, and the executive management. Prior to Omtool, Voelk worked for more than a decade at ASA International, a developer of proprietary vertical market software, where he was executive vice president of the parent and president of the company’s International Trade and Transportation Division. He continued to serve on the ASA board of directors until 2010, and has also served on the board of directors for eSped.com since 1999.

Dan Coccoluto

Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer, and Secretary

Dan Coccoluto is chief financial officer, treasurer, and secretary of Omtool, Ltd. Appointed CFO in September 2003, Coccoluto is committed to building and protecting shareholder value through compliant and transparent financial reporting. Dan started his Omtool career in 1999 as corporate controller, managing the day-to-day operations of the finance department. Dan became a corporate officer in April 2005 and as treasurer and secretary he assumed additional responsibilities for financial planning and analysis, oversight of business and operational controllers, and analysis for mergers and acquisitions. Coccoluto earned his CPA while at Ernst & Young.

Karen Cummings

Executive Vice President

As executive vice president and corporate officer, Karen Cummings drives the growth of Omtool’s enterprise-class products into new and expanding markets and strengthens its ability to deliver comprehensive document-driven solutions, both directly and through strategic partnerships. Her years of experience in strategic relationships, market analysis, perception development, product introductions, demand creation, and sales, enable her to lead Omtool’s strategic direction and expand its market position worldwide. Previously, Cummings managed diverse groups as EVP of marketing at Metatomix and Sandy Bay Networks before launching Spinnaker Consulting Group, a consulting agency providing strategic marketing services. Karen has also held senior marketing positions at Advanced Visual Systems, Inc. (AVS), SystemSoft Corporation, and Intel Corporation.

Thaddeus Bouchard

Chief Technology Officer

A 20-year veteran of the software and hardware industry, Thaddeus Bouchard is the technology executive and voice of Omtool’s product vision and roadmap development. He possesses extensive systems development and information management expertise along with a wealth of project-management experience. Bouchard joined Omtool in 1998 as director of product management and quickly rose to vice president of products in 1999. Previously, Bouchard was founder and CEO of NetValu Corp., a Web-based provider of technology and services for profiling the interests of Internet users. Bouchard has also held product-management, marketing and engineering positions for AT&T and Lotus Development Corp.

Tom Connolly

Vice President, Client Engagements and Services

As vice president of client engagements and service, Tom Connolly directs the development and delivery of a wide range of services designed to help customers identify opportunities to automate document workflows, provide customers with easy and positive implementation experience, and continue to meet customer expectations and ensure successful uses there after. Connolly’s track record in delivering services and managing professional services organizations gives him a wealth of experience focused on ensuring customer satisfaction and increasing the effectiveness and operational efficiencies of solutions as a customer’s business drivers evolve and expand over time. Prior to joining Omtool, Tom ran professional services practices at SunGard, Blackboard, Computer Science Corporation and several boutique-consulting firms.

Cara Fascione

Vice President, Sales

Cara Fascione manages the company’s direct sales teams in North America. She has a proven track record as a vertical-industry expert and has successfully created brand recognition and significant improvements in awareness within targeted sectors. Most recently, Fascione was the executive vice president of sales and marketing at Kewill Trade and Logistics where she concentrated on using a consultative approach to provide competitive and unique solutions to her customers.

Shawn Freligh

Vice President, Solutions, Product Management, and Support

As Vice President, Shawn Freligh is responsible for shaping our product suite to meet customer specific ongoing demands and provide future innovation, while developing tight roadmaps and timelines to accomplish delivery. Shawn brings over 15 years of extensive experience in software, including image processing, OCR, architecting and designing systems. Shawn has a wealth of experience in defining powerful solutions that meet customer needs in virtually any document-intensive industry, worldwide. Shawn also has overall management responsibilities for Omtool’s support, training, documentation teams, and QA. During Shawn’s tenure at Omtool, he has also managed and directed the Omtool technical teams in our London office. Prior to Omtool, Shawn also held software engineering positions for other high-tech companies in the image-processing and energy space and holds a degrees in Computer Science and MSc. in Information Technology.

Tom Gordon

Vice President, Business Development

Tom Gordon brings more than 25 years of in-depth sales experience to Omtool, where he directs the company’s worldwide business development and strategic partnerships. His expertise includes developing and managing successful sales teams, designing and implementing distribution plans, and expanding sales channels. Prior to Omtool, Tom was business development manager for Equitrac, a Florida-based software company. He has also held sales management positions at Fortune 500 companies and co-founded SharCo and Frames USA.
