The AccuRoute Desktop 3.02 install has several updates to it's features and functionality. Watch Folder changes, a new Print to Fax View and support for Microsoft Windows 7 have all been added. All File menu print to functionality will go through the Microsoft XPS printer, which is installed by default on Windows Vista,Windows 7, and Windows 2008.

The client setup files are located in the \program files \omtool\omtoolserver\clients directory on the Omtool Server. Before you can update AccuRoute clients, you must share this directory with all systems running the AccuRoute clients. Then follow the instructions below to install the clients.
To update an AccuRoute client:
Log on to the system using an account that belongs to the Administrators group on the client, for example, as a member of the Domain Admins group. Navigate to the directory containing the setup files.
Run the setup and install the client following the prompts.
Reboot the client system to complete the update.
This release contains the following new features.
Print to Fax view - when configured by the system administrator, a user can have the option of right clicking on a document and launching a Fax view window. This view stream lines the user's experience when sending to fax recipients only.
To enable the PrintToFax view you need to modify the AccuRouteWatchFolder.xml located on the AccuRoute Server in the \Application Data\Omtool\AccuRouteWatchFolder\
Change the line

to
<prCommandLine>-a="%FILENAME%" -v="$/PrintToFax.omv"</prCommandLine>
Watch Folders Task Tray Icon will run by default on Windows startup.
This release contains the following enhancements.
Watch Folder's now support three types of folders. Deliver to ED, Deliver to Recipient, and Launch AccuRoute Desktop.
Printing feature now supports the Microsoft XPS printer.
From any File/Print menu, select the Microsoft XPS Document Writer.
Select OK
In the Favorites section, find My Documents, AccuRoute folder and type in a file name, ending in .xps
Click Save
The Default Desktop view is now launched with the xps document attached. Add a recipient and send to the server for delivery.

17501 - Image documents printed to the XPS printer in AccuRoute Desktop v3.02 will be blank. Files of this type must be manually specified in the attachment list of the client.
