Innovation is at the heart of all technology. Omtool recognizes this trait as one of the most important characteristics of a visionary and technically-mature organization. To celebrate the benefits of technology, our annual Drive for Innovation Award for the legal market is presented to a select few of Omtool’s legal customers who leverage their AccuRoute® document capture and handling solution to achieve substantial results in the areas of information accessibility, compliance, document retention, efficiency and/or productivity improvements.
We are currently accepting nominations from law firms, corporate legal departments, and business partners (on behalf of their legal customers) worldwide for the most innovative uses of AccuRoute. The call for entries for the 2009 Drive for Innovation Award for the legal market is open until Friday, July 31, 2009 (8:00 p.m. ET).
Award Winners
Award winners will be chosen by a panel of industry experts and announced at the annual ILTA conference on Tuesday, August 25, 2009. Top winners will be awarded with 2009 Drive for Innovation Award trophies and associated public promotions. The first place award recipient will also receive $20,000 in cooperative marketing and licensing funds from Omtool. You do not need to be present at ILTA to win.
Entry Process
Law firm, corporate legal department, and business partner (on behalf of their legal customer) entries MUST be received by July 31, 2009 (8:00 p.m. ET), and will be reviewed by an impartial panel of industry experts.
Entry Criteria
- The award entry must be for a law firm or corporate legal department that is a current Omtool customer. This contest is not open to the general public, only Omtool customers.
- To submit your innovation, please fully complete an entry form. You can apply via our online entry form or you can request a Microsoft Word document by sending an e-mail to innovationaward@omtool.com. Please request the Microsoft Word document if you are using charts or pictures, as this online form cannot accommodate graphics.
- If you use the Microsoft Word document entry form or would like to mail supporting documentation, you can e-mail your completed response and/or documentation to innovationaward@omtool.com or mail them to Omtool, Ltd., Attn: Drive for Innovation Award, 6 Riverside Drive, Andover , MA 01810.
- If you submit your application via mail, it must be postmarked no later than July 31, 2009.
- Judging will be performed by an impartial panel of legal technology experts. All decisions by the judges are final.
- Applications will be judged based on completeness, uniqueness, documentation support (if needed), and use case examples. Click here for more entry advice.
