Case Management

Case Management systems, such as DAMION from Constellation Justice Systems, play a central role in today's legal environments, especially at state and local legal entities such as district attorneys' offices.

Case management systems help legal professionals:

  • Organize large volumes of information, such as data, documents, and related correspondence
  • Standardize office procedures to ensure consistent processes and better results
  • Automate tasks, like creating and delivering documents or reports
As powerful as these systems are, they are only as useful and valuable as the information they contain and manage. How can law firms, public prosecutors and defenders, corporate counsel, justice advocates, and other participants more effectively use case management in their content-rich environments? The answer lies with Omtool AccuRoute.

AccuRoute is an ideal complement to case management by capturing critical documents and storing the electronic copy in case management systems. In parallel, each activity includes tracking and recording each phase of delivery as well as delivery confirmation. The result is a time-stamped, server-based audit trail of where each document came from, what was done to it, and where it went, along with an archived copy of the "message and attachments."

AccuRoute routes all confidential case-related communications - paper and electronic alike - through the AccuRoute Server to give you a definitive, validated history of the document transaction and an archive of the document as it was delivered (in the form it was delivered).
