Introduction

The AccuRoute v3.01Patch Rollup 1 includes resolved issues and updated functionality for AccuRoute v3.01as listed in the Release Notes section.

Note: The Patch Rollup must be applied to all remote components (like Remote Composer etc) in your AccuRoute environment.

Special instructions for clustered servers

If you are applying the Patch Rollup to AccuRoute Servers in a cluster you must follow the steps outlined below:

To apply the AccuRoute v3.01 Patch Rollup 1 to AccuRoute Servers in a cluster:

  1. Stop Cluster Manager service on the secondary server.

  2. Stop Cluster Manager service on the primary server.

  3. Apply the Patch Rollup to the primary server.

  4. Apply the Patch Rollup to the secondary server.

  5. Start the Cluster Manager service on the primary server.

  6. Start the Cluster Manager service on the secondary server.

  7. Verify that the primary server is running properly.

Instructions for downloading AccuRoute v3.01Patch Rollup 1

Follow the instructions in the procedure below to download the Patch Rollup from the Omtool website.

To download the AccuRoute v3.01Patch Rollup 1:

  1. Open Internet Explorer browser and go to http://www.omtool.com/support.

  2. Log in using your customer number.

  3. Locate the module AccuRoute v3.01 Patch Rollup 1 in the Downloads & Docs section.

  4. Download the module and save it to a local drive.

  5. Extract the files to a location on your AccuRoute Server.

Installing AccuRoute v3.01Patch Rollup 1

To install the AccuRoute v3.01Patch Rollup 1:

  1. Go to the location where you saved AccuRoute3.01PatchRollup1.exe file.

  2. Double click the executable.

The Omtool AccuRoute 3.01Patch Rollup page opens prompting you to extract and install the Patch Rollup.

  1. Click Continue to extract the files to a temporary location on your system.

When extraction is complete, the Install AccuRoute Patch Rollup page opens.

  1. Click Next.

 The Detect Components page opens listing all the components that will be updated.

  1. Click Next to install the update.

 A progress bar shows the status of the installation. When installation is complete you see the Installation Completed page.

  1. Click Finish to exit the wizard.  

Updating AccuRoute Clients

The client setup files are located in the \program files \omtool\omtoolserver\clients directory on the Omtool Server. Before you can update AccuRoute clients, you must share this directory with all systems running the AccuRoute clients. Then follow the instructions below to install the clients.

To update an AccuRoute client:

  1. Log on to the system using an account that belongs to the Administrators group on the client, for example, as a member of the Domain Admins group. Navigate to the directory containing the setup files.

  2. Run the setup and install the client following the prompts.

  3. Reboot the client system to complete the update.

Enhancements

This release contains the following enhancements.

AccuRoute Desktop Client v3.02 - This release includes the setup files for AccuRoute Desktop Client v3.02. To access the setup file, simply  install the AccuRoute v3.01Patch Rollup 1on your AccuRoute Server. The setup files are now available in the \Omtool Server\Clients\AccuRoute Desktop directory.

Nuance Capture SDK v16.4  - Nuance Capture is responsible for composing OCR documents and for detecting OMEDID Embedded Directives on Routing Sheets, and for resolving image cleanup  problems when composing PDF documents.

Resolved issues

This section lists issues resolved in AccuRoute v3.01Patch Rollup 1:

17166 - Meditech Connector stash is not backward compatible.

17167  - Meditech viewer is not using backward-compatible stash format.

17168 -  Meditech Connector is not returning actual image from the archive.

Limitations

This section lists limitations in AccuRoute v3.01Patch Rollup 1:

17523 - When the AccuRoute Desktop client  is connected via HTTP to a server in a different domain, the recipients specified are not displayed on the routing sheet.

17501 - Image documents printed to the XPS printer in AccuRoute Desktop v3.02 will be blank.  Files of  this type must be manually specified in the attachment list of the client.
